Before receiving instruction in the Pilates Method, each client undergoes an initial consultation where a pre-exercise medical history is taken and any special needs are discussed.
A full postural and musculoskeletal assessment is done and the client is given individual instruction in a series of carefully selected Pilates Method exercises, within the parameters of the client’s age, gender, body type, previous injuries or trauma and pre-existing conditions.
Exercises are based on a combination of mat, apparatus and equipment.
All sessions are by appointment and client numbers are restricted so that each client is given individual attention. All clients, especially those with special needs, are continually assessed during their sessions and progressed at their own level.
